It is Friday. and we are doing our happy dance over here.

Kyle comes home this afternoon – woohoo!

He has been traveling for work, since Monday night, so my little and I have spent most of our week together…. Sick…

Yuck!

It all started last Friday when Kaydence was just down and out; I just knew something was not right.

After MOPs, we headed straight for urgent care, waited for 2.5 hours, and found out strep got our girl.

We got some antibiotics. and we were on our way home.

I thought she would be on the mend and back to her fun, wild, happy self in a few days, but NOPE!

We ended back up at the doctor’s office on Tuesday, just to make sure Kaydence’s strep had not taken  turn for the worse.

Only to find out an upper respiratory infection got our girl, too. (Sigh!)

And I failed to mention, in the mix of all this, I caught a pretty bad cold myself.

Needless to say, we have been doing a whole lot of nothing.

And wishing Kyle was home to take care of us!

So here is to the weekend (and hopefully being on the mend)!
