New Year – Hello 2016

Happy New Year, friends!
With a new year comes new thoughts, new goals, and new beginnings…
But first,  I want to reflect back on 2015.
This past year holds some wonderful and unforgettable memories shared with a handful of tough times (sigh), but more than anything, it was another beautiful year filled with laughter, love, and grace.
Kaydence has grown like a wildflower within this last year. She started pre-school at the beginning of September and is blossoming into my sweet little toddler gal. She is a girl who enjoys being out doors for hours and loves wearing (mommy’s) high heals all day, every day.

It makes me happy and sad all at the same time (if that is even possible) knowing my precious baby is becoming this little human with her own thoughts and opinions. She truly is a bundle of happiness that lights up our world. I could cry just thinking about how quickly time goes by, but I am thrilled to see what God has in store this year for us…

Which brings me to this quote I came across and seemed fitting for a new year…

“Epiphanatic moments always interrupt the thrum of daily life unexpectedly, surprisingly, and sometimes downright inconveniently.

Noticing goodness means a surrender, a yielding to the new vision that eclipses out old, cataracted sight.”

This year I want to strive to notice goodness in all circumstances, because sometimes you get caught up in life and forget to notice the goodness surrounding you…

Cheers to 2016!
